GOOD PRODUCT, BUT DVD AND BRD PERFORMANCE WAS NOT AN EYE/EAR POPPER.
Tried a blu-ray player from same mfg as my 1080p plasma. Slow to get ready and slow to load. Very slow and choppy when wanting to go forward or back. Oppo unit solved all these concerns with 5 stars.
Also, my trial blu-ray player had a very poor remote -- as bad as that which came with the TV.

MONEY WELL SPENT
Money well spent, the movies really pop--- don't know why we waited so long to buy a blu-ray but this OPPO was well worth the wait.

INCREDABLE!
An absolutely magnificant product. One of the best values in electronic gear currently on the market. I can't wait for some high end audio gear to be produced by this company. An incredable buy also, you couldn't buy a blue ray player this good at twice the price! One of those rare finds.

GOING FROM HD TO BLURAY - IMPRESSIONS OF THE OPPO PLAYER
I must say that I am completely happy with this player - the ability to bitstream HD tracks to my receiver, and the on the fly setup options - where you don't have to stop playback to make a change to the video or audio settings!
